Vintage Italian mother of pearl cameo pendant / brooch. Acquired from a private estate collection, this convertible cameo features carved white mother of deals pearl on black iridescent shell set in an 800 silver setting wrapped with thin gold wire. The back features a pendant bail for hanging on a necklace chain, as well as a brooch pin closure. Please note, there is no locking mechanism on the pin catch, but the pin stays safely in the catch like an old C-style clasp. Stamped 800 for fineness on back. 0.85” length and 0.65” width. Excellent pre-owned condition.
