Historic Etching deals of the United States Capitol by Artist Day Lowry Rare Find

Presented for sale today is a wonderful, copperplate deals etching of the United States Capitol. It is very crisp, clean and an excellent, historic etching of our Capitol.

Great present for any lawyer, politician or to hang in your home as a reminder of our great Country!

It is very impressive in person!!! This is a rare one of his works to find and it may be because people that have them will not sell them!

Frame is black with gold trimvand in good vintage condition with minor wear.

This was sold at a high end store very close to where we live and the label indicates it was pre area codes, etc.

Measurements are: Approximately 14 1/2 inches wide by 11 1/2 inches high

A little info on the artist: Day Lowry was an artist who worked for Everett Waddey Co. in Richmond, VA. He did many historical works of art, some of which were made into copperplate etchings and reproduced on an engraving press. Some of these plates were of VMI, Colonial Williamsburg, Duke and Jamestown. In addition to being a fine artist he was also a pilot during WWI.
