This fine box is handcrafted by Nick Molignano in deals his woodworking studio from Quilted Maple, the Oregon's Big Leaf Maple tree, producer of this scintillating "quilted" 3D grain pattern.

All boxes are sculpted from outstanding exceptional cuts of premium hardwoods from around the world.

The artist uses the grain patterns in these specialty woods to express his artistic vision just as a painter uses his medium to demonstrate his message.

This functional sculpture slides open with the smoothest action on felt glides. Boxes are fully lined with wine colored plush rayon and have felt feet on the bottom. The exquisite lacquer finish is the finest finish one can apply to wood like a concert grand piano or a great guitar.
