This limited edition print was hand selected by the former Texas governor, John B. Connally. It was signed and numbered by the artist, each numbered out of 1000 prints.

"Although Bents Fort, Colorado was the main source of supply on the Southwest Trail and for much of the western territory, many traders preferred to trade with the Indians on their own ground, away from the fort. For the trader's protection, the chief would often assign one of the braves to act as bodyguard, insuring that both parties got a fair trade."
