European Smelts - Rare 1795 Engraving, Original deals Hand Colored Antique Print

"Natürliche Grossen, 1. Salmo Eperlano-marinus Der See-Stint (European Smelt), 2. Salmo Eperlanus Der Stint L'Eperlan (The Smelt), 3. Salmo Maraenula Die kleine Maraene La petite Marène (European Cisco)." Original antique engraving of smelts and whitefish published by M.E. Bloch in Berlin, 1795. It was drawn by Krüger and engraved by G. Bodenehr. It was water-colored by hand at the time of publication. It is an original antique print, not a modern reproduction.

Dimensions:
Approx. 10-1/4" x 16-1/4" (sheet size)

Condition:
Very good. Clean with excellent original hand color.

It will be packaged in a sealed plastic sleeve and will ship within a tubular mailer for protection.
