Framed fabric deals collage, flower garden

This framed, fabric collage is made from upcycled fabrics and shows garden flowers which are irresistible to butterflies. It is full of different colours and textures. The verbena seems to float above the other flowers on it's angular stems and the flowers below jostle for space.
I have used many different fabrics to make this picture. The verbena was a silk scarf in a previous life and the grasses at the bottom were the fringe of a woollen shawl ! Some of the fabrics are hand painted and some are made from tiny scraps of fabric and thread held securely together with free machine stitching. deals There are also handmade cords to represent some of the stems.

It comes already framed and ready to hang on receipt.
