2 Vintage Fire King Jadeite Green Jade D Handle Mug Oven Ware Glass Coffee Cup marked "Anchor Hocking Fire-King ware made in the USA These came out of a local old 2 room school house from the 40s-60s. There is some black on bottoms that where names of the teachers & staff that used them. Some did not come off while cleaning. It adds to the history of these mugs. Printing molded on bottom Fire-King oven ware Made in USA Number 5 on deals 1 mug Number 1/ 4 on the other one the 4 is slightly larger than the number 1 Condition: They are pre-owned, and in good condition no chips or cracks or stains. Measures approximately: 3-1/4" in diameter x 3-3/8" in height History Fire-King was originally produced in the 1940s for everyday use, rather than display. It was often sold in bags of flour as a promotional item or was given away at gas stations. Fire-King could also be purchased at local grocery & hardware stores.
