Delicate Garnet & Golden Sheen Obsidian Gemstone Necklace | One of a Kind deals | Gold Vermeil

I have made this delicate and dainty necklace with some beautiful natural Rhodolite Garnet and Golden Sheen Obsidian gemstone beads.

There are 20 stunning Rhodolite Garnet oval beads in the centre of this necklace. These smooth AAA quality gemstone beads measure between 5-6mm and are a gorgeous deep red violet colour. I have also added some round micro-faceted Golden Sheen Obsidian beads (measuring 3mm) to either side of the row of Garnet beads, going up the chain. These lovely little black beads have subtle hints of gold in them, and a truly ethereal quality. Obsidian is a naturally occurring volcanic glass which is formed when volcanic lava cools. The 'golden sheen' effect in Obsidian is caused by tiny gas bubbles which formed patterns in the flowing lava before it solidified. These bubbles when aligned in a particular way are what give deals the golden sheen. I love the combination of these romantic Rhodolite Garnets with the mysterious Golden Sheen Obsidian - it is elegant and unusual.

I have meticulously hand wire-wrapped all of the beads, attaching them to a delicate gold vermeil (24k gold over sterling silver) chain, which fastens in the back with a gold vermeil lobster clasp and jump ring. Gold vermeil lobster clasp is marked for quality.

Necklace measures exactly 18.25 inches in length.
