Antique Chatelaine Coin Purse, German Accordion deals Coin Purse, Silver Tone Metal, Beautiful Ornate Etched Metal Lid, 4" Long x 2 1/2

deals This is a very lovely vintage chatelaine coin purse. It is a German accordion chatelaine purse. It measures approx. 4" long x 2 1/2" wide. There are no markings on the purse so I will refer to it as a silver tone metal. The little lid is etched with the most lovely floral pattern and has an un-monogramed cartouche in the center. The lid opens and the accordion top expands to receive coins. When open it has a diameter of 1 1/2". The lid snaps in place to lock it. There are no breaks or missing pieces of the mesh. Overall it is in wonderful antique condition. It has its' original patina, I have not tried to polish it. I have seen these also attached to a brooch.
