Deals Sesame Street Newcor Ceramic Christmas Ornaments Vintage

Who doesn't love Big Bird and his Sesame Street BFFs? This little collection of four Christmas ornaments includes Big Bird on a red sled with a blue and green scarf around his neck. Cookie Monster is wearing a pink and red scarf and eating snowballs. Oscar the Grouch, in his garbage can, is also on a red sled. Grover with a pink and green scarf is putting the finishing touches on a snowman. Utterly charming!

My children are grown and even deals my grandson has outgrown our love of Sesame Street so I'm willing to let my ornaments go to other children. I've had them since my kids were little in the mid-80's/early 90's.

In excellent vintage condition; they have twisted gold strings and metal loops plus hangers for attaching to your Christmas tree. There is a sticker on the underside of each that says Made in Taiwan R.O.C. The Big Bird, Oscar and Grover also have Muppets Inc in relief on the bottoms.

On each original plastic box we see JMP-Newcor Inc., Northbrook IL, Made in Taiwan, Sesame Street Muppet Characters, Muppets Inc. Sesame Street and the Sesame Street Sign are trademarks of the Children's Television Workshop. No chips, cracks, repairs or crazing and I see no wear or paint skips. I note one tiny green dot on the front of Big Bird's sled.
