TENANGO OTOMI EMBROIDERED BED ACCENT OR TABLE RUNNER. MULTICOLOR in an OFF WHITE (BEIGE) BACKGROUND. Tones: black, purple, salmon, magenta, blue, dark greens, yellow, oranges. DISCLOSURE: runner has written “S.T.C.” (For a reason unknown to me!) On the back edges but this does not show on the embroidered design! This piece was washed after shipment was received from Mexico; but that did not come off. Tenango Embroidered. Made in Mexico by Mexican Artisans, embroidered by hand. SIZE: 15 INCHES WIDE X 72 INCHES LONG *** for reference, the piece is on a table size 42x76 inches. Care: hand wash or delicate cycle, I recommend with woolite, lay flat to dry and iron at temperature for cotton fabric. This type of embroidery is called “Tenango” as it is made by the Otomi people who reside in the state of Hidalgo at Tenango de Doria. This deals is one of a kind piece, it is art.
