This wool is certified oeko-tex and comes from the Ardennes in France.

Why garnish my baby blankets with wool?
Wool felt is a natural material. It does not deform. It is warm and light, it is breathable, non-toxic and respects the balance of babies' skin.
It is biodegradable, and renewable. Its environmental impact, like cotton and linen, is low.
