Deals Goldtone Chinese Brass Notions Box with Repousse Characters and a Hinged Lid, This intricately patterned repousse brass box was made in China probably in the 1920's The brass finish.
Description
This intricately patterned repousse brass box was made in China probably in the 1920's. The brass finish has the appearance of gold gilt. The box measures approximately 6 1/2 inches long, 4 3/4 inches wide deals and 1 1/2 inches tall including 1/4 inch feet. The interior is unlined but I did put a blue paper liner on the bottom. The box is in very good condition with a few small dark spots on the finish that would probably polish away but I would be afraid to change the beautiful color so I only use a damp cloth to clean it.
