I love butterflies, They are among natures most delicate and colorful creatures. Among butterflies Monarchs are my favorite.

This painting is a simple illustration depicting four Monarch deals Butterflies in flight.

I often use a green background in my paintings of Monarchs as I find it enhances the three dimensional quality I strive to achieve in their appearance.
