Looking at each barnboard art piece, the mind drifts to think of the weather and years that have crafted each mark and colour on the wood carefully selected to create each piece of art. Sourcing and collecting aged barnboard off the Alberta prairies is a task we cherish, bringing the wood that has served these farms well to new use in order to highlight it's beauty. This piece is modeled on a traditional five peak mountain range as seen in the rockies. Wood in the background may vary in colour, width and direction depending on what we have available, but we will use a variety of colours and textures of wood in each piece.
