Condition: PRE-OWNED. ITEM COMES FROM PRIVATE ESTATE SALE. The hinge is round and appears to be a modern 1930's or younger replacement. The deals catch appears to be a lever safety catch dating from approx. circa 1900. The pin looks like it originally stuck out beyond the end of the catch, however this catch looks like it is leaning outward away from the pin/hinge, perhaps it done on purpose.
