About the crafters

Through collaboration with a representative of skilled
women beaders in the Kwazulu Natal , working directly from their villages allows these rural beaders to produce their beadwork while still attending to their children, livestock, and subsistence crops . This project allows the women to earn sustenance while crafting these beautiful beaded dolls that portrays their culture and lifestyle.
