The marvelous Dorothy from the film "The Wizard of Oz" played by Judy Garland. One of magical films ever made, full of wonder and fantasy. That is what I wanted to capture with this drawing, that wonderful and amazement, so directly seen in her face. Such an wonderful look she had and with the classic pigtails, blue dress and red lipstick. A wonderful piece of Southern artwork and rustic decor.


Image itself is 17" tall by 14" wide deals and was made completely with colored pencils on 400 series Strathmore acid free drawing paper. This is the one and only version of this piece, not copies or reproductions will ever be made of it. If you want a custom made barn board frame to go with this piece just let me know, it will be an additional $50 onto the price plus about $10 more in shipping potentially. As it is the price only includes the artwork itself.



Reflected in the price of the drawing is the time it took to create as well as past pieces that have been sold. With shipping, the drawing will not be rolled up into a tube. Since it is the original artwork, I will put it in a plastic frame and ship it flat in a flat box, thus the potential oversized charge on the packaged which explains the shipping price.
