This jigsaw puzzle has been cut by hand from ¼" thick 5-ply okoume plywood. Please note that it has been cut with a fine saw blade, deals NOT a laser or water-jet.

The puzzle measures 10-1/2" x 5" with 221 pieces including four turtle pieces, one of which is signed and dated on its back.

The puzzle has been cut with a scroll saw using extremely fine blades just .007" thick. These blades are the thinnest that can in practice be used to cut the dense ¼" plywood.

The combination of thin blade, thick plywood and fully-interlocking pieces results in a puzzle that is very tightly cut, so that when assembled it can be lifted without falling apart.

The puzzle is supplied unassembled in a sturdy plywood box with sliding lid. The lid has an inlay of the Turtleteasers logo in a contrasting wood. This box is made from wood and glue only - no metal nails, screws, hinges or clasps. No picture is supplied, so that traditionalists can work through the solution the hard way!
