This beauty is made in Italy - Vietri S.R.L Sul Mare. Hand made and hand painted.

Vietri is famous for its ceramics. There are pottery shops everywhere you look. This ceramic tradition dates back to the Middle Ages and became well established in the 15th century. In fact, Vietri has its own ceramic museum that has pieces dating back at least to the 15th century. The family owned Ceramica Pinto was started by Vincenzo Pinto, he rented an old factory from the early 1800 located on the ground floor of Palazzo Pizzicara, in the heart of Vietri sul Mare. Today it is run by his grandchildren Rosaura and Carlo Pinto. The history of Ceramica Pinto is often associated with the art world, witnessing collaborations with important artists like Amerigo Tot, Giovanni Carrano and Gio Ponti.

Measures 7-3/4" tell by 4-1/4" diameter on the bottom. Opening is 1.5" outside and 1" inside.
