This pot and the lid were tuned from the same piece of beech wood. It had a large crack in the blank which is also present on the lid and adds a nice feature to the pot. This crack has been glued and the wood stabilised so will not get any larger.

The lid is shaped in a way that it sits within a recess in the bowl part and on the top sits a handle turned from a lovely piece of Yew with lot of colour, knots and grain patterns.

Sanded and sealed the pot has been finished in a home made blend of beeswax and jojoba oil to protect the wood along with giving it a natural looking shine.
