1910s Antique deals Ribbon Work Appliqué Purple Flower Basket Blue Bow Straw Ombré Silk Ribbon Flowers Metal Thread Embroidery Textile

A very pretty, hard to find original 1910s ribbon work applique.
Large pruple/ lilac ombré silk roses sit in a flower basket. Each flower has dainty yellow stamens.
The olive silk metal edge leaves have been carefully formed.
The basket has been embroidered with straw and finished with bronze metallic gold thread and lace.
A wonderful addition to a collection or perfect for very special projects. We think it would be fabulous for a special cushion or just to display.
This applique came to us with a few other similar ribbon work pieces that will all be listed separately in our Etsy shop.

Measurements:
13cm across and deals 16.5 cm down.

Condition:
A beautifully aged, time-worn antique applique. The bow has many fox marks. Light, nice wear throughout. Wear and fraying to the flowers and leaves. Minor fading/ discolouration. Please see our photographs for details.
