This handsome unisex ring is built in style # 2 of my online selection catalog. A streamlined style that sports the feature gem mounted in an elevated rectangular bed with an open back utilizing neat partial bezels securing it on the sides. The gemstone is nearly filling the face of the ring for maximum show. The band tapers just slightly to the back and this hefty band is very comfortable.
The unique green gemstone is Maw Sit Sit from the village area of Maw Sit Sit, Burma. Technically a rock conglomerate with a hardness of 6.5 that includes several minerals such as Jadeite and Chromium. This type of rock is found in only this one location on the entire planet and currently the supply from this area is nearly exhausted. We had this gem cabbed from natural rough purchased in Burma. It is a 17.7 x 5 x 2.8 mm rectangle and weighs 2.74 carats. It is a pleasing blend of green and black colors. The cut and polish are very good. Many of these are dyed but this one is not, all natural good looks.
