Deals French Floral fabric Madder and Picotage circa 1920s flower printed cotton fragment

A gorgeous antique French fabric dating c 1920. Wonderful aged ground with picotage, and with madder brown, purple and red tones! The pattern has lovely flowers, foliage and coral like branches. It's a medium weight cotton, GORGEOUS. Ideal for many decorative projects. This must have been a fragment of a larger curtain as there are 4 metal curtain rings sewn at the top. Two edges are selvage but one has little threads on it where it was probably unpicked from the rest of the curtain. The top and bottom edges have hand stitched hems.~ ( EFF 135 )

CONDITION: This textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition with storage dust. There are a few pale storage marks that should wash right out. Ideal for creative projects ~
