This is a salvage face cover to a Navy padlock. These locks were rare. The crossed cannons & rope pulley system looks so iconic. I believe it is brass or copper & it has some green verdigris patina.

Thin, with top notches, pin holes & key hole

Fair condition, I had to clean it up a bit. I gently took off some rust from the top right corner, which is the roughest spot. Still solid, not crumbling. Not bent. Pretty good considering it's age! Amazing to think it survived this long after falling apart.
