Upcycled, deals vintage transistor radio lamp. Unique lamp. Retro 1960s.

A beautiful, vintage 'Portadyne' transistor radio dating from around the 1950-60s that has been given a second life as an industrial style table or desk lamp. The rotating tuning dial is still intact and turns. This fantastic old piece has been cleaned up and given a light polish but does show the patina that you'd expect from an item of this age.

A switched, brass finish, lampholder on a short pedestal has been securely fitted to the top of the radio. Traditional style braided 3 core cable in brown to suit the retro, industrial look of the lamp, runs down through the body of the radio leading to a plain black, fused, 3 amp plug. All electrical parts are new, UK sourced and CE approved.

Comes with an Edison bulb (as pictured) to complete the industrial/steam punk look (Please message with your preferred bulb style.
