Celluloid Blue Bracelet deals from 1920s

This rare celluloid bracelet is an estate find from Maine. We've not seen one like it in a long time. It is blue, with seed pearls and flowers as decoration. Celluloid dates back to the 1870s and was deals used in jewelry up until the 1930s. One of the first synthetic plastics created, it could be formed into virtually any shape. One of the seed pearls is missing (can be seen in the photograph) but otherwise the barreled is in very good shape considering it is nearly a century old. A fabulous find.
