I use strong, naturally-tanned leather personally sourced from Northampton in England. Northampton has long been associated with the leather industry in the UK and is famous for its high-quality leather suppliers.

The leather is doubled, attached 'face to face' and stitched with thick cotton thread, giving it a thickness of about 0.4cm for the main layer and 0.4cm for the additional layer which holds the D-ring. So the total thickness of the collar is about 0.8cm. This is a really nice thickness, which makes the collar feel chunky and substantial.

The collar is decorated with pretty crystals 0.7cm in diameter and small gold-plated rivets 0.4cm in diameter.

The edges are finished using a specialist hot iron and after that a few coats of water-resistant dye from Italy are applied to keep them smooth and polished.

The width of the collar is 4cm at its widest point and 2cm in the buckle area.

This sturdy and stylish collar will be perfect for medium to large breeds, including greyhounds thanks to its wide, comfortable design.

The collar is secured by a buckle and a brass kipper allowing for 4 different collar adjustments.
