Maple deals and Mahogany Longhorn Box

This elegant Maple box features a Longhorn skull cutout overlaid on Mahogany. The corners on the lid are spline mitered and the corners on the box are "box joined". Both of these joining methods are traditional and serve to insure that this box will serve for generations. The unique patented deals hinge and interior lining are made of Mahogany. The bottom is lined with a burnt orange fabric. This all purpose box is suitable for southwest decor or, since this is Austin, anyone who "bleeds orange". This fine example of the joiners art measures 10 3/8" X 6 1/2" X 3 1/8". It is hand signed by the artist and bears the patent number on the bottom of the box.
