Wagner Early Stylized #8 deals Skillet Circa 1920's - Restored - 002949

Here we have a hard to find item in really great shape. This is a Wagner stylized logo, #8 skillet with outside fire ring and size at the bottom. These were made between 1925 and 1930, but you would never guess that based on what fine shape this pan is in. There is no pitting on the outside bottom. The cooking surface is extremely smooth with a couple tiny casting fleabites and a few very light utensil marks. It sits flat, and doesn't spin on glass, but it does have a very slight spout to spout deals wobble which is cancelled by one playing card on one side. A great collector piece or a find one to use for generations to come.

Professionally restored by soaking in lye bath, then being scrubbed, then 24 hours undergoing electrolysis, followed by even more scrubbing, followed by 4 rounds of seasoning with grape seed oil at 500 degrees, allowing the pan to slowly cool to 200 degrees before the next round.
