Vintage 1960s Elizabeth Arden Honore Striped deals Box Pleat French A-Line Skirt 8

Own a piece of fashion history! This early 1960s vintage skirt is likely a sample for a skirt Ms. Arden commissioned for a client or would sell in her NYC store. Made in France, the fabric is a silk-cotton blend. Bold horizontal stripes in navy blue, bright red, black, white, and aqua. A very subtle plaid pattern emerges upon closer look. The A-line cut is emphasized by crisp box pleats falling from the banded waist. A back zipper and button closure runs up the deals back. Fully lined. Tag reads a vintage size 8, but check the flat lay measurements. Fits closer to a 4/6. A very rare find!

**As with many vintage clothes, this skirt shows its years---there are spots of sun discoloration or some type of exposure that left marks (see pics). They are noticeable only when looking for them, and may possibly be ameliorated by cleaning, sunlight, etc. This skirt has a lifetime of wear in it, and simply needs its next new owner to take care of it.
