Carrera deals Ring

The Carrera Ring is inspired by the Carrera marble quarries in Italy. These are the world-renown quarries that have provided sculptors like Michelangelo with their marble for centuries if not millennia.

The ring doesn't really look like the quarries - they cut white marble after all and my ring is primarily black/gray. But I was thinking of those quarries while sculpting the ring. And the 23k gold foil is applied in a way that reminds me of the veins occlusions and other imperfections you might see in raw marble.

I may make a series of these rings, including setting some stones if this design gets much attention.
