Created for the Chris Bailey-directed theatrical short, this is a superb original animation drawing featuring Mickey Mouse himself! "Runaway Brain" was a dark comic cartoon that was the last of the Mickey Mouse theatrical shorts until 2013's "Get A Horse," made almost 20 years later. This drawing deals was made for the moments beginning at around the 1:00 mark, and is a rare unused image for the final film. Mickey measures approximately 4.25" tall on a 16-field sheet of animation paper. The piece is rendered in graphite and orange pencil, and bears the hand-written notation denoting sequence and scene. The sheet shows minor handling and edge wear from normal production use. We'll include a Charles Scott Gallery COA.
