Vintage Postmodern Black & White Leifheit Columbus Thermal Carafe Pitcher

A playful example of postmodern design, this thermos comes in a pod-shaped plastic finish and a copper-lined interior for optimal temperature retention. Back in the 1980s it was quite a breakthrough in terms of mainstream design, making it a highly sought after piece today.

Origin: made in West Germany by Leifheit Vivatherm. Embossed on the bottom.
Condition: in good vintage shape. Only minimal surface scratches and small marks or stains on the pitcher's outer surfaces, while the inner copper lining remains in pristine condition.
