Old brass fire extinguisher / Brand PYRENE / Height: 43 cm / Authentic deals and rare / Beautiful collector's item & decoration!

Old brass fire extinguisher of the brand PYRENE (30's). This model is large (height: 43 cm, see characteristics below).

For the record, PHILLIPS & PAIN created their company in the 1920s. In the past, "PYRENE" fire extinguishers were used in particular to extinguish vehicle fires. Small, lightweight, strong and practical, they have been manufactured for almost half a century without undergoing any major evolution!

The instructions for use of this model are written on a large plate at deals the front of the fire extinguisher: "In case of fire, turn the handle to the left; pumping at the base of the flames". The distributor appears at the bottom "Ets Phillips & Pain, 31 rue de la Vanne - Montrouge (Seine)".

Although in very good condition for its age, this object has some traces of wear related to time, which gives it a superb patina. This extinguisher is not dented.

Authentic object, all the pieces are original!

Ideal for a collector or as a decorative object (industrial atmosphere, workshop, garage, loft.)
