These old wooden youth skis were found on an old farm homestead. They are 59 inches long and 5.5 inches wide. They were stored inside the wood is solid. They are attached in the back and have sawtooth hangers. I first primed them and then hand painted them with a poetic skiers proverb. It says, "SKIING deals IS A DANCE & THE MOUNTAIN ALWAYS LEADS."  There is a majestic mountain on the left and a few snowy pines on the far right. It was difficult to capture the color with my camera. It is a Deep Royal Blue with the lettering in white with the slightest tint of blue blending into the white.  These skis would be perfect for a passionate downhill skier. They really pop!  A unique piece with a feeling of the adventure and majestic grandeur of the big ski slopes of the Rockies or the Alps.
Side note...in the pictures...
The color looks like it has a purple hue...it does not.
The blue is from a deep royal blue to a prussian blue.
