This is a fabulous piece in wonderful antique condition.
The case is beautifully coloured
and the material is celluloid deals
in a faux tortoiseshell effect design
with brass hinges and retainers and a good closable clasp.
The LA Monogram appears to be gold.
The case is 3 inches wide (8 cm) by 4 1/4 inches long (11 cm)

The case was designed for shorter cigarettes of the time
(2 1/2 inches or 6.5 cm long)
