Vintage Chinese Guan Gong Guan Yu Warrior Hand-Carved Wood Sculpture Statue Asian Man deals Figurine Chinese God of War Asian Décor 12” High

This is a beautiful, intricately hand-carved wood sculpture of Guan Yu (also known as Guan Gong), the Chinese God of War. Displaying a Guan Yu figurine in your home is believed to protect wealth and prevent any evil or negative intent from entering. There is an opening in his right hand that presumably once held a weapon, but unfortunately the weapon is missing.

I don't know the exact age of this piece, but it was purchased at an estate sale in the early 1990s, so it definitely pre-dates that time period and could possibly be much older.

Measures 12”h x 4.5”w x 4”d. Excellent vintage condition.
