This listing is for 5 gorgeous Royal Doulton Miniature Cups and Saucers.

The date represents early 20th century
and they were hand gilded by Herbert Betteley;
a very talented artist in the employ of Doulton.
Many of the ornamental wares exhibited at the
Chicago World's Fair in 1893 were decorated by Herbert Betteley.

The tiny cups and saucers are a dark cherry red,
hand gilded with a very intricate pattern.
The finish is very glossy and difficult to photograph.
They are so much prettier that my photographs.
White spots are glare and unavoidable with such a
glossy finish

Condition: The cups are in very good antique condition
with no cracks, chips, or hairlines.
There is some tiny dots of paint wear at
the bottom outside walls of the cups.
Most likely from being stacked together.

Cup:
2 inches high
2 inches bowl diameter
Saucer:
4-1/8th inches diameter

And all weigh approximately 1 pound
without packing materials.
