This type of ring is often worn as a pendant.

The Tuaregs inhabit a vast territory, discover almost all the Western and Western Sahara and the north-central Sahel. They are mostly nomads. For more than two millennia, the Tuaregs have exploited the trans-Saharan caravan trade linking the major cities located south of the Sahara via five desert trade routes leading to the northern coast of Africa (Mediterranean).
