Description
This unique natural edge bowl is made from a Maple tree grown in Deltona, Florida.
The tree was downed by a hurricane.
The bowl measures approximately 9 3/4” X 7 1/2” X 4” and is finished with a satin lacquer and beeswax.
The wood is uniquely spalted and the bowl shape is created by turning the wood on a lathe. The bowl bottom is where the middle of the log was. The natural edge of the log was retained, deals though the bark came off in the drying process.
This is an American made, handcrafted wood turning, and should provide decades of service and pleasure.
