Scarab deals and Quartz Necklace

This piece is made from five antique demitasse spoons of the "Egyptian" pattern by rogers. A lovely and rare pattern, it features a winged scarab, full of mystery. I hand cut, filed and drilled these pieces, and attached to them beautiful quartz crystal points. They all hang from vintage silver tone chain. I actually have a version of this one for myself and it is among my most favorite deals necklaces!

All pieces are unique. They are made completely from found and recycled parts, much like found-object art.
I have loved jewelry my whole life. I want to create pieces that drape and lay on the body the way clothing would, using relics and totems from years past.
