Antique woven deals hair watch chain and gold filled fob, Victorian mourning jewelry

This watch chain is a nice example of Victorian mourning jewelry, being woven in the 19th century out of a deceased loved one's hair. It has the additional attraction of a gold-filled fob set with mother-of-pearl and 3 dark red cabochons, and decorative gold-filled findings. I can't deals say with certainty that the cabochons are garnets but it seems likely. The center finding, to which the fob is attached, is set with 2 small red cabochons and a seed pearl, and has a flower engraved on the reverse. The fob (13/16" x 5/8") looks like a locket but it doesn't open. The entire chain is 17" long and is in very good condition for its age: there is very little wear or fraying to the hair and minor wear to the gold finish on the findings and fob.
