Please see pic 8 & 9. It's about 1/2 inch circular shape maybe less and has some tape residue surrounding hole. I took the sticky tape off and added clear tape to keep filing secure. You could use a patch of your choice, sew up or maybe use and Patagonia logo patch from an old jacket to cover.
