SHELLEY SILVER DAWN - Salad Plates, Set deals of 5

This delightfully rare set of Salad plates was made by Shelley China, pattern #14124 and the back-stamp dates them 1961. At this time, Shelley made an agreement with Lichfield (in England) giving them EXCLUSIVE distribution of 8 Shelley patterns in their store. The plates (produced by Shelley) had the Lichfield back-stamp added over the original Shelley stamp and this distinctive agreement adds to the elusiveness of these dishes. The pattern name is SILVER DAWN and snow-white porcelain has been bathed in soft, pastel-pink along the wide rim of each plate. The design features trailing leafy stems with daisy-like flowers circling the rim. Both sides of the floral design are trimmed with a fine band of platinum. The plates measure 8" across and although utensil marks are seen, no chips, cracks or crazing are noted and close-up pics of all plates are included for your viewing. This pretty set of 5 Salad plates would be a lovely deals addition to your Shelley collection and the price includes shipping within North America.
